MSR Exhaust for Yamaha GTS1000 Available

Postby Flydave » Fri Apr 17, 2015 1:35 pm

Hi friends !

After years of searching, i have found an exhaust builder near my country that sell a nice (for me) exhaust for our beloved GTS1000.

The firm is MSR (MaccaSport) : http://www.maccasport.com/

I have just ordered an exhaust for my GTS1000, round shape with removable dbkiller for 219Euro.

Will let you know if i like the sound, as i am not interested in performance but just sound... Loud pipes save lifes !

Oh ! the forum is up again :-)

My feedback : this exhaust is shit. It is more quiet than the original !
I have tried to modify it , by opening the little hole on the inside but without success.. i was able only to increase a little the loudness on low rpm, but as soon as you accelerate the sound disappear.

It is build with an expansion chamber inside

Damn italian products... i wanted a racing pipe and i lost 220euro's for a chromed f*cking silent pipe.

Maybe in future i will use the front curve to adapt it to a yoshimura... who know...

It is good only as replacement of the original pipe, if you don't want noise.
(but i WANT noise)

oh.. and the dbkiller, is NOT removable.. there is not any dbkiller outside or on the front side, there is a narrowing soldered inside. The whole pipe is soldered so you can't open it without cutting it.
