Getting to the Spark Plugs

Postby amarrache » Wed May 31, 2017 4:10 am

Trying to take care of bringing my GTS out of storage on my own, I'd like to change the spark plugs. But what all needs to removed to get to them? It looks like the gas tank and air box at a minimum, but by the looks of it the radiator as well? This can't be right, can it? There's got to be a simpler way I'm not seeing? Thanks.

Haha, no you can change them without taking all that off. All you need to take off is the plug leads. Its tight, you will need the correct spark plug tool though. If you have big hands you might have a problem.

Thanks. I am going to have to get my young son to get in there. I can't maneuver my hands in the space much, that's why I thought parts needed to be pulled off.

Actually pretty easy, remove the side body panels and come in from the front and sides, best tool i've found to remove the plugs is the one that comes in the tool kit. It works perfect
