Postby ALPHACV71 » Thu Apr 04, 2013 8:10 am

Hello members recently found this Website with lots of oem parts http://www.yamahaparts1st.com/ and under the gts section I noticed some parts are describe as California model only and so my obvious question is can some one enlightened me about California model vs a normal model I have a hunch it has to do with emissions in any way it will be very important to know since I bought my in Kansas state and I am still have not visited my local DMV and hope to not have any nasty surprises..Thank you also still looking for a use Left turn signal and yes Japan still makes OEM mirrors just got mine from local bike dealer for around 140 us dollars :D

If I had to guess, the California model has an evaporative emission control system for the fuel tank. I doubt there are any other differences.
