No European GTS 2011 for me

Postby 24c » Tue May 10, 2011 10:04 pm

I won't be going to this years GTS Treffen, as my daughter has decided to get married on the 30th August, and the happy day will be in Malawi!

At least somebody else will get the furthest travelled prize this year

PS I will be going to the June event in Somerton though.
I've just started riding the GTS again, and it'll be changing

Not screaming... like his passenger...

Hi Guys,

how many uk gts owners are planning on going to the somerton meet in june, just asking as i rang the crosskeysinn and the pc800 meet has taken all there rooms.

So i was thinking of finding a b&b as close to the crosskeys as possible so it was easy to get back after a meal an bear in the cross keys if thats whats happening, but if its only 1 or 2 i don,t know what to do.

And i have no camping gear for crosskeys and i,ll be honest don,t fancy that much any way.
let me know what you guys are doing.

thanks

rob

Well, I was thinking of staying in a B&B in Lydford (Millwall House), but got an email from work that puts me in Northern Ireland for the week, and even though my holiday dates were agreed, the guy organising has cocked up and the client expects attendance.

So if I get back Friday night on the ferry, which is unlikely, it'll be a brief visit Saturday afternoon/night for me now.
