Can see why your wrist's been pinned, having seen the grip snapped clean off.

And your knackers must be sore after hitting the tank like that.

Ye gads Dave, you could have been in a hell of a bigger mess.

Evel, yep your tank sure took a beating, always new you had balls, just never realised how big and Stainless.

We all owe you one...a beer bag of chips..for reminding us of our mortality.

In a week or so's time it'll come back a little clearer as to what happened, perhaps we can have a safety tip then.

When I had a head injury it took a while for the events to become clear on recollection...just the way we protect ourselves from Trauma. My event is crystal clear now...I shouldn't have tried to run a group of yobs down near a hairpin.

Be up to see you soon.

I think his seeds have taken a bit too much of a battering to be anywhere other than tucked up under his chin at the moment!!

I reckon he's got two new kidney stones

BTW, I know these old girls crumple well, but I can't imagine it being that straight from the pics...nice ding in the bonnet Dave.

No wonder you're hurting, and you're a well lucky lad.

PS Spot the GTS anyone
I've just started riding the GTS again, and it'll be changing

So sorry to hear of your misfortune Evel. I can really sympathise after stepping off my bike at 90kms earlier this year.

I was more fortunate in that all I got was a a bit of bum rash. I think after 25 years riding without incident my pride was hurt more than anything else.

Get well soon, I enjoy reading your posts in the forums. Being in Oz and only one of a handful with a GTS you guys are a lifeline to me.

Keep up the good work and here's hoping you're back on two wheels in no time.

Holy shit!!I wasn't expecting them sort of pictures with that extent of damage. This is going to be a contradiction of statement, unlucky to have an accident but you have been extremely lucky to get away with just the injuries that you sustained.Normally a site like that gives terrible info on the rider.Get well quickly and keep us informed. On another note this can be a reminder to us all to be aware of the dangers out there!
Ref your knackers, i hope you told the doctor to take away the pain but leave the swelling!!! Ryszard......
