Wanted (still). Non-ABS speedo console.

Postby Brian Steers » Mon Oct 24, 2011 11:16 pm

I am still after a non-ABS speedo/console assembly for my black bike. Any condition accepted, as it is the internals I need, especially the speedo chip. The bike is off the road for this winter's updates, and getting the speedo working properly is one of them.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks Trev.

I emailed the guy and he confirmed that it was a ABS bike, but pointed out a non-ABS speedo on German eBay (item no. 220807461756), but at £300 start price is WAY too dear for me.

Thanks for these, Guys.

Can anyone translate the description of the dismantled one for me please? Using Google translate it sounds as if it is for the harness only, not all the other bits. Also, I cannot clearly see if this is a Non-ABS set or not. The middle right section of the plastic window with the logos on it will read ABS or something else for the non-ABS set, which I need. I cannot make out which one this is.

Many thanks,

Biggles

Keep them coming please Trev. I will keep an eye on the other one, but would rather not pay £100 when all I need is one little bit.

After it had been listed for a month, not sold, then re-listed, I offered the chap in London £80 for the speedo housing, which I thought was fair. No reply, not even a "no thanks".

Sod him, I can wait.

The guy its crazy, and hes only goal itsnt to sell the items, its to charge loads of money.

I hope no one will buy them at that price, and that he keeps them on hes %#$$...
