Tyre Deals and Choice

Fast-boy tyres (as Nick likes to call them) or sensible sports tourers? What's your recommendation?

Tyre Deals and Choice

Postby Dave Carey » Tue Mar 21, 2006 2:37 pm

:D :D

Am running out of arse wipes again folks but here is a few links....

They are to do with puncture sealants but if you read through the tech blurb they help to prolong life of tyre as well as the ...can't bring myself to say it..

Also BMW has Continental Road Attack's fitted as standard to the 1200 which is no lightweight....

Continental have a web site.....for info.

The best price I could get from online retailers was 155 pound incl Vat & free delivery.

My local suspension and all round specialist is letting me have a pair for £140.00. He's the guy who fully rebuilt both my shocks with a permanent stiffie.

Any way word is These attacks are one of the best around if you use the bike when the sun isn't shining ( all year round ) 50degree lean in the wet..how bad/good is that.. will take the polish off your sliders..

OK Tossa's here are the links to sealant sites...I know I bitch about them but...the peace of mind I get is great...only went to the shops and back before putting that in...

http://www.punctureseal.com/faqs.htm.

OK ordered my attacks will be home by thursday....put away till my back is a little more worn...price's bound to go up...the BMW site are raving over them.

OK Fook off!!

Oh and it would have been so easy to put the Continental link in....do some work yourselves...tossa's yeah definitely you Evel...600 miles on a front...!!!

:D :D Well looking at my chart again today...I started to think Pirelli Diablo Corsa...they were more expensive by another £30.00...but having chatted with my local guy I ordered my Conti Road Attacks £143.00 pair.

For info he is a real good un and will rebuild any shocks you want to send to him.

He lives by reputation...just him and two young mechanics...

So anyone wanting something done that can be through the mail let me know..
